LIGHT GREEN, FAST GREEN

Light green (C.I. 42095) and fast green (C.I. 42053) are two dyes that can be easily dissolved in water. They are used to staining animal connective tissue in trichrome staining protocols, and also combined with safranin for plant tissues. The staining properties of these dyes are similar, so they can be used indistinctly. However, the staining durability by fast green may last longer.
